NARRATIVE REPORT ON BRIGADA ESKWELA
August 1-22, 2022
The school is an institution which is responsible in molding the learners into a responsible
individual in the society. This is where one is crafted into a better person, who will be an emblem of
the kind of learning center where he was raised. The multifarious concern of school demands
working with others to accomplish designed tasks and objectives. These would need dedicated
school personnel, cooperative parents, accountable community and innovative learners. Educators
believe that environment plays a big part in learners’ learning. And so, if classrooms are not
conducive to learning because of poor condition and some defective school facilities, education is
hindered. The Department of Education conducted this year’s Brigada Eskwela with the Theme:
“Brigada Eskwela: Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na BAlik-Aral” where all education stakeholders
contributed their time, effort and resources in ensuring that the school facilities are ready in time for
the school opening. Dr. Jingle B. Remedio, the Head Teacher and the teachers of Tuburan
Elementary School sent letters to parents and volunteers who would participate in the brigada that
will start on August 1, 2022 and ends on August 26, 2022. Parents, Sitio officials, Religious group and
other people from the community were encouraged to join the program.
On the first day, the TES staff conducted parents, GPTA officials, Sitio Officials, 26 th IB of
Tuburan Patrol Base, religious representative, stakeholders’ orientation and assigned their areas to
clean specifically in the front area of the school building, school ground. The Adventist Community
Services rendered their time and effort to brass cut the school ground for free. Others were also
assigned in the box garden of every classroom and transfer all functional and malfunctioned
computer sets. Teachers ensure that the volunteers and parents were doing their assigned work
leading it all the way.
On the following days, another set of parents were assigned inside and outside of the school
perimeter fence, front and back area of the stage, back area of the classroom and vegetable garden.
The 26th IB of Tuburan Patrol Base was assigned to cut and clean the school boundary. They also help
conducted the Brigada Pagbasa together with the Sitio Officials and selected parents.
The Brigada Eskwela at Tuburan Elementary School was a big success because of the
collaborative efforts and services rendered by the stakeholders and volunteers.
