Annotation: Instructions on non-verbal prompts such as use of reaction buttons during discussion will
be shared during the Virtual Etiquette Orientation. Meanwhile, for verbal prompts, instructions on the
use of the microphone or the chatbox will also be emphasized.

Indicator 5. Established safe and secure learning environments to enhance learning through the
consistent implementation of policies, guidelines and procedures
Indicator 6. Maintained learning environments that promote fairness, respect and care to encourage
learning.
Annotation: Indicator 5 will be shown through the instructions given all throughout the session. On the
other hand, indicator 6 will be seen in the conduct of Virtual Etiquette Orientation where positive
mindset is always encouraged among students.

(4) Introductory Activity

Indicator 1. Applied knowledge of content within and across curriculum teaching areas.
Annotation: Research involves different fields, through the given abstract samples, the students will
see how research is applied in music.

Indicator 8. Applied a range of successful strategies that maintain learning environments that
motivate learners to work productively by assuming responsibility for their own learning.
Annotation: This is a karaoke activity that will give the students the motivation to do a difficult task.

ACTIVITY 1: KARAOKE DAY!

cooperate and collaborate in continued learning
Strategy: Experiential Instruction (students will experience watching an oral presentation and based
on the video that they will watch, they will write their own guidelines in preparing for an oral
presentation)
Annotation: Students will create their own guidelines in preparing for an oral presentation through this
experience-based activity.

The students will be asked to watch a video presentation of an Oral Presentation, from the oral presentation,
they will be asked to craft their own guidelines in preparing for an Oral Presentation. They will be given the
following guide questions:
Guide Questions:
1. How much time should be allotted in preparing for an oral presentation?
2. What parts of research must be discussed in an oral presentation?
3. How should the presentation/slides look like when presenting?
4. How can the presenter connect with the audience?
5. How should one speak in an oral presentation?
6. What manner or dressing must be observed in an oral presentation?
The AVP will last for 15 minutes, then the students will be given another 15 minutes to craft their guidelines
and post in padlet.
Processing of Answers:
The teachers will collate the works of each group then will create a uniform guidelines in preparing for an oral
presentation.

ACTIVITY 3: YOUR TURN!


Students, using the guidelines they created will write a script and make slides to present their research in

They will be given 20 minutes to prepare for the said activity.
Selected groups will be asked to present their work in class. Students in the audience will serve as panelists.
