We here with convey our approval/comments on the documents listed below. Review of drawings/ documents in
accordance with contract Documents does not absolve Vendor/contractor from any responsibilities for their accuracy
of the design, performance and safety of the plant / works or any other obligations under the contract and Indian
Statutory laws nor does it limit the employer’s rights under the contract. Drawing / Document approval shall be read
in conjunction with this comments letter.

Comments
 It shall be contractor responsibility to install Grid conductor length 120Mt. considered laid along the length of
plant area & Grid conductor length 100Mt. considered laid along the width of plant area for earthing
calculation. Approval shall be subject to same.
 Galvanizing of GI Earthing strip considered shall be as per IS:2629 as per tender.
 Earthing for Lightning system as per IS:2309 shall be provided as per tender / statutory authority requirements.
 The earthing strip quantity is reviewed as per the length considered by contractor. Contractor shall have to
provide the earthing strip length / quantity on higher side, if required at site, as per site condition / requirements.
 Contractor to ensure that earth resistance shall not exceed 1Ω at any point and shall provide additional earth pits
/ strips, if required at site, as per IS-3043:2018 / Tender specification.
 It will be contractor responsibility to demonstrate and to measure earth resistance at any point of Earthing
system shall be less than one ohm / as per latest statutory norms requirements to Engg.-In-Charge of client.
 Provide Copper earth strip/ copper cable between PLC Panel and Earth pit as per specification.
 For Instrument earth pit provide copper pipe as per specification.
