Oral The receiver
External :
Refers to any physical phenomena that may hinder the receiver’s ability to decode the message.
Internal :
Physiological noise: involves biological factors in the receiver or the sender that interfere with accurate
reception.
Psychological noise : mental forces within the receiver or the sender that may inhibit his or her ability
to either encode or decode a message effectively.
> If the receiver is has a low self esteem, they may interpret a sincere compliment as sarcastic or
condescending.

Week 5: Giving Presentations (Talks), PPT & presentations, Techniques of Public Speaking,
Preparation, Opening and Closing Talks.
Week 6: Speaking Effectively and Speech persuasiveness
