The SSC CGL, also known as Sta‘Y Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Exam, is
conducted to appoint candidates as Income Tax Inspectors, Excise & Customs Inspectors, Accountants,
Junior Accountants, Compiler in Registrar General of India, Preventive Officers, etc.
The vacancies for the 2022-23 cycle are yet to be released. The SSC CGL Exam Notification for the
2022-23 cycle will be released on 10th September 2022 and the vacancy count for the 2022 cycle is
expected to be released along with the notification.
The Prelims will be conducted for 200 marks and each subject will carry 50 marks. The subjects will be
Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and English language. Tier II (Mains) will be
conducted for 400 marks and each subject will carry 200 marks. The subjects will be English language
and Quantitative Aptitude.

29th August 2022: SSC CGL Tier-II Revised Answer Key Notice Out!
The revised answer key notice is released by the Staff Selection Commission for the 2021 cycle. Earlier the SSC
released the Tentative answer key and the objection link was activated too. But due to some glitch, the link was
deactivated. So, the SSC has activated the objection link and candidates can raise objections for the same from 29th

SSC CGL Exam Eligibility Criteria

SSC CGL Exam - Educational Qualifications (As on 23rd January 2022)
(A) Assistant Audit Officer/AAO (Assistant Accounts Officer) - Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a
recognized University or Institute.
(B) Junior Statistical Officer - Bachelor's Degeee in any subject from a recognized University or Institute
with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard. OR Bachelor's Degree in any subject with
Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level

You can apply for the SSC CGL Exam Online mode only. Follow SSC CGL Apply Online steps as given below:
Step 1 - Proceed to the SSC official website and proceed to registration for CGL.
Step 2- Fill the application form with required details i.e Personal, Educational, Post Name, etc.
Step 3 - Upload scanned photograph and signature as per requirements mentioned in the official
notification.
Step 4 - Preview and verify the information provided by you and Submit the Application.
Step 5 - Take out the Print Out of the Application Form for future reference.
Note: Use a valid email ID that should be kept active till the declaration of results. You should keep a scanned
photograph and signature ready as per the requirements mentioned in the official notification.
By following these above steps, you will be able to submit your SSC CGL Form successfully.
SSC CGL Exam Application Status
Once candidates have applied for the SSC CGL Exam. Candidates must go through the application status .
The commission updates the application status on the website for all the eligible candidates.
‘Once the candidates have applied for the application they can check their SSC CGL application form
status from the SSC's website.
The information to check the application is released on the website.
The board will release the region wise application status ,candidates are advised to check the region wise
application status to which they belong
Candidates are required to enter their SSC CGL Registration Number, Date of Birth or Candidate's Name
and Date of birth to check the SSC CGL application form status.
SSC CGL Exam Application Fee
The SSC CGI. application or registration fees for SSC CGL exam is Rs. 100/- for male candidates
belonging to UR and OBC category.
SC/ST, Differently abled, ex-servicemen and female candidates have been exempted from application
fee,
‘You have to pay the application fee via Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking. You can also pay the
application fee via ofiline mode only through challan of SBI. You have to make the payment at
designated branches of SBI within the working hours of the bank up to 27-01-2022 provided the challan
has been generated by them before 26-01-2022 (23:30 hours).

It is a computer-based online test of 200 marks in 60 minutes of time duration. There is a negative

Stage 4: SSC CGL Tier 4
« Tier-IV of the SSC CGL Recruitment Examination is Data Entry Skill Test (DEST)/Computer
Proficiency Test (CPT). This test is of qualifying nature. The DEST testis for the Tax Assistant Post
only.
. The merit list will be prepared on the overall performance of the student in Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III but
you have to qualify all the tiers (i.e Tier-1, Tier-Il and Tier-IIN) separately.
