아이와 미래, 사람과 자연, 자연과 도시가 만나는 "복합문화공간"으로, 아이들의 꿈과
희망 그리고 미래에 대한 놀이와 체험을 위한 학습장이 된다. 또한, 화성시를 대표하
는 체험, 문화활동의 상징적인 아이콘이 될 것이다. 아이들을 위한 공간 설계를 위하
여 다섯 개의 개념을 설정한다.
1. 아이들의 즐거운 체험과 안전을 고려한 공간
2. 아이들의 정서발달, 자율적생활, 상상력을 북돋우는 공간
3. 아이들의 눈높이에서 바라본 Kids City
4. 아이들을 위한 숲 속 놀이터
5. 자연과 도시를 연결하는 매개공간
대지의 물리적인 조건(레벨차)을 극복하기 위한 방법으로 자연환경과 도시를 연계하는
건축적 랜드스케이프를 계획하여 복합문화의 중심공간으로 조성한다.

As a cultural complex in which children and the future, people and the nature, and the
nature the city meet, this space will act as a learning field for children to nurture dream and
hopes while engaging in activities for the future. In addition, the complex will become a
symbolic icon that represents experiential and cultural activities in the city of Hwaseong.
We have established five concepts in order to design a space for children.
1. A space for children to engage in fun activities while ensuring their safety
2. A space that encourages children's emotional development, self-sustainment, and
imagination
3. Kids City, from children's perspective
4. Playground in the forest, built for children
5. A mediating space that links the nature and the city
In order to overcome the level differences in the lot, we planned an architectural landscape
linking the natural environment and the city. The ultimate goal is to form a central cultural
