On the occasion of 75 years of independence, India is going to launch 75 satellites into space made by school and

college students. Satellite built in Karnataka is named as Puneeth Satellite, formerly known as "Karnataka
Government School Students' Satellite-KGS3Sat”. This Students’ Satellites Consortium is implementing through
Karnataka Science and Technology Promotion Society (KSTePS) and Karnataka State Council for Science and
Technology (KSCST) in collaboration with Indian Satellite Research Organisation (ISRO) and Indian Technology
Congress Association (ITCA).

Winners of Children Centric programmes from Karnataka will visit Sriharikota to witness the launch. To grab the
