HW-0516 Dual-MOS Trigger Cycle Circuit Timer Delay Module

I the owner of “McPitty’s” Channel on YouTube have made this user’s manual available, by working
conscientiously on my own initiative and taking great care in the process, will accept no liability for any
damage to the module or any connected devices caused by anyone using this manual. I would however
urge the user to study the handbook and the additional functions on page 8 carefully before activating
the module. Research has shown that there is another timer that is identical in construction. This is the
timer (Deek Robot DK-C-04 or JZ-802). This timer has additional functions. These functions are
described in more detail in the English version of this video by the YouTuber "yoochoooob".
Thanks for the good and helpful work.

Addional functions
Apart from the programmable sequences for the ICQUANZX DC-Timer-Module we have already

examined, there are some specific details which will be dealt with separately in this section.

1. Buttons and switches

2. Emergency stop control

3. Sleep mode

4. Setting time parameters

5. Added time unit

6 Setting LOP mode

7 Precision

External button A1 and switches B2 und C3

External button A1 and switches B2 and C3 are not included in the scope of delivery. However, it is

recommended to use at least the A1 button and switch B2. Switch C3 is optional. The modules covered

here will only function smoothly to a certain extent without these button and switches. However, these

additional switches / button make handling considerably easier. This is especially the case if the

electricity supply has to be cut quickly.

Emergency stop

The module can be stopped by pressing the STOP button briefly if there are problems in the circuit

while it is in operation and additional switches (e.g. B2 and C3) are not available. The relay closes.

There is no electrical current. But the operations do continue in the background. To return to the

previous operating mode, press the STOP button briefly and repeatedly. Electrical current is flowing.

There is another way to stop the module working – like this. Programme number P3.2 is active. Press

the SET button for 2-3 seconds. The display shows programme number P3.2. Set the desired

programme number with the UP or DOWN buttons. E.g. P3.1. If programme number P3.1 is

programmed in, press the SET button for 2-3 seconds again. This saves programme number P3.1.

After the flashing has stopped, "standard view" is visible on the display screen. P3.2 is no longer active.

12

Sleep mode

The manufacturer’s specifications state that by using sleep mode the display will be deactivated after

5 minutes in operation. Operations still continue in the background. To enable this to happen press the

STOP button for 2 – 3 seconds. The display flashes 3 times and CP is now visible. Once the flashing

has stopped the display changes to the current operational value. (The module keeps running …. and

running….. and running for even more than 05 minutes). Sleep mode can be deactivated by repeatedly

pressing the STOP button for 2 – 3 seconds.

This works perfectly (it was never active).

Deep sleep mode can only be activated if programme P3.2 is active. To start this function with the

button A1 has one advantage. Which one it is, is described in the following paragraph.

Method

Programme 3.2 is activated. The module starts on its own. If button A1 is pressed briefly while the OP,

CL or LOP values are in operation, it makes no difference to the operational mode. After the operation

of LOP values, the module switches to deep sleep mode. The module also switches to deep sleep

mode if the button A1 is pressed briefly after programme number P3.2 is finished, the display and

module are off.

Setting the time parameters

In order to make the most of the module, you can edit the time parameters depending on what is

needed from 00.1 seconds to 999 minutes. This is valid for all the programmes (CL and OP values).

To use programme number P3.1 as an example. The module has to be in OP or CL mode. E.g. if

programme P3.1 is showing the current OP value 021 seconds. Press the STOP button briefly and

the decimal point moves one decimal position to the left to the value 02.1 seconds. The last position

is 1/10th of a second, so this means 2 seconds and 1/10th (2 and one tenth of a second). Set the

desired value with the UP or DOWN buttons, or to skip the next step. Press the STOP button again

briefly and the value 0.2.1 is displayed.

Time values with 3 decimal places are minutes. In this case 0.2.1. minutes.
German editing Index H English translation
by McPitty’s Channel by Mark Lines
(YouTube) Telford UK
13

Here again 00.1 = seconds with tenths (min.)

005. = seconds
9.9.9. = minutes (max.)
Once the value is set, press the button SET for 2 - 3 seconds.

Now the time has been saved. The display flashes 3 times and shows the programme number P3.1.

Once the flashing has stopped "standard view" is visible on the display screen. This procedure can be

used for all programmes with OP and CL values.

Adding units of time

If the time settings are different e.g. 360 min. closed and 10 sec. open, the module will not add the

values! With programmes P3.1 and P3.2, the module functions this way - The relay closes for 359

minutes and 50 seconds. Then the relay opens for 10 seconds. The module starts from the beginning

according to the number of cycles.

If the CL value is e.g. 2 minutes and the OP value 75 seconds the module recognizes the OP value as

1 minute and 15 seconds and adds the values CL and OP as 3 minutes. The remaining 15 seconds

are subtracted from the CL value. The CL value is then 1 minute 45 seconds and the OP value 75

seconds. Basically, the first cycle should be viewed as neutral, as the times do not match.

Note 1.

For LOP mode apart from settings 001 to 999, setting - - - is also possible.
This setting means infinite cycles.

Note 2.

The timer or rather how it counts is not precise. It deviates considerably from real time

Every time you switch from OP to CL, the module loses approx. 0.7 seconds.

This results in considerable inaccuracies in the event of a longer running time. It is not always possible

to work accurately to the second with the module.
