CHECKLIST VISITOR VISA USA/CANADA

IN ENGLISH
All documents must be submitted in two files ORIGINAL and PHOTOCOPY in the order
below:
1. Flight tickets after visa between 600.000 frs and 1.000.000frs (Booking before visa
about 50.000 frs)
2. Our Fees: 1.500.000frs
3. Filled-out and signed application forms
4. Two recent passport photos (colored, light background, standard size 35 x 45 mm)
5. Passport (issued in the last 5 years and valid 3 more month after end of visit), if previous
trips old passport(s)
6. CNI (or receipt) / Cameroonian residence permit (for non-Cameroonian citizen )
7. Birth certificate (and judgement if existent)
8. Proof of family ties in Cameroon (birth certificate of children, marriage certificate)
9. Proof of property / real estate
10.Proof of financial ties (work contract, leave letter, three last pay slips or three last titre
de patente, bank statement of last six months) and all other proof of economic ties in
Cameroon
11.Proof of own financial means (no cash)
12.Proof of accommodation (booking before visa 50.000 frs to 125.000 frs)
13. Travel health insurance (min. coverage 30.000 Canadian dollars and valid for the
duration of stay (Before visa between 100.000 frs to 325.000 to check with weight, age,
height and previous diseases)
14. Conference reservation (before visa 25.000 to 175.000 frs)
15.Visa fees, biometric fees (before visa 135.000 frs)
16.Covid tests ( see hospitals)
17.Two vaccins ( see hospitals)
 VISA FOR A FAMILY VISIT:
Proof of relation (birth certificate, resident permit and passport) of the contact person in
Canada other proof of reason for travel (wedding invitation, baptism confirmation, pregnancy
certificat etc.)
BUSINESS VISA:
Invitation, hotel reservation, proof of enough financial meanings needed for the planned
business activities, proof of former business trips (hotel bill, receipt,...) last three titres de
patente (with registre de commerce) and other documents that show your recent business
activities (Bill of Lading, contracts, bills etc.)

MEDICAL TREATMENT:
Proof of advance payment of the treatment / Insurance coverage Certificate from a medical
doctor confirming the need of specific medical treatment in Canada, confirmation of
appointment and the estimated treatment duration and other correspondence concerning
the medical treatment
FOR MINORS (UNDER 14 YEARS):

1. If travelling unaccompanied by parent(s), travel authorisation signed by both

parents/legal guardian & applicant and copy of the parent(s)’ passports or CNI
2. Current school certificate or university inscription attesting the effective presence with
school reports and grades of the last two semesters
3. Application form must be signed by both parents.
The Embassy reserves the right to request other documents than those indicated
above and to verify their authenticity.
NB: If your application file is not complete, be informed that this most likely result in refusal.
