    Date : September 8, 2022

    1. To continuously fulfill the Department of Education’s mandate to produce


    productive and responsive citizens equipped with essential competencies and
    skills for lifelong learning and to make every learner a proficient reader, this
    Office announces the Conduct of District Oral Reading Pre-Test on September
    13-15, 2022.

    2. The conduct of Oral Reading Test aims to help teachers identify the reading levels
    of their learners in order for them to help develop their reading skills and to
    nurture a culture of reading which is a requisite skill in all content areas.

    3. To provide guidance on this activity, enclosed are the list of examiners, schedule
    and activity in the conduct of the Oral Reading Pre-Test

    4. Immediate dissemination and compliance of this Memorandum are desired.
