How did the various events in Jose Rizal’s life shape him into becoming our national

hero?
If I were to become a professional architect in the future, I would love to mentor someone
who wants to pursue the field. As a mentor, I must have some strategies for developing that person
into a professional who is also socially conscious and nationalistic. These can be connected to
Rizal's works and life in some respects.
A person who designs buildings is called an architect. They must supervise while the
buildings are being constructed as well. As an architect, you must have a thorough understanding
of topics including drawing, building structure, and many others. As a mentor, the first thing I will
do is devote my efforts to educating my mentee on the skills necessary to succeed as an architect.
Examples of these skills include drawing, planning, rendering, and other abilities. Teaching my
mentee about communication and social skills is also crucial because these abilities are necessary
when working with other professionals. This may be connected to Rizal's background as a teacher.
It is believed that while he was in Dapitan, he made good use of his time by imparting knowledge
to locals. In January 1894, he opened a non-official school for boys. Through his all-encompassing
teaching methods, he helped his students strengthen their reading abilities in Spanish, English,
mathematics, and geometry. He also instructed the boys in wrestling, fencing, swimming, and
boxing. His remedy was a social revolution brought about through youth education.
The Eiffel tower, Taj Mahal, Musée du Louvre, the Sistine Chapel, and other well-known
structures are among the world's notable structures. They became famous because of their
remarkable and distinctive structure. Architects are one of the people responsible for creating these
structures. Travelers from all around the world may explore these unique structures. I can be a
mentor to my mentee by taking them on tours and explaining the layout of these well-known sites.
Traveling is sometimes necessary for architects because seeing the building in person will give
them a better understanding of it. As previously said, Rizal also took to traveling, spending time
in areas like Europe where he could examine the people, cultures, legal systems, and governments
of other nations. He used this information to help the Philippines obtain independence from Spain's
oppressive reign. This emphasizes how gaining specific information about many topics can be
helped by travel.
Riza is also known as a writer. Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo are two of his well-
known and prolific literary works. These novels are written in a way that it lets us know about the
internal and external struggles of a country. By using practically real-life characters and frequently
imposing satirical characteristics on most, the characters are divided by a variety of goals, views,
ideologies, and moralities. Rizal used his literature to educate the Filipino people about the
problems that existed in Philippine society during the rule of Spain. I can contribute as an architect
and mentor by writing articles for journals that discuss ideas and information about architecture
and by delving into intricate architectural concepts. In the same way that Rizal taught us, I can
pass on my expertise in the field to my mentee in this way, helping them become a skilled architect
in the future.
