Job Location
This position will be based out of Doha, Qatar and may involve travelling across the regions covered by
D&B SAME or beyond as per project requirements.
Job Objective
Provide data-driven and analysis-rich deliverables deriving strategic insights. As a consultant you will be
expected to work on Strategy Consulting, Industry/Sector Research, and Feasibility Analysis across
industry verticals. This role involves a high degree of client engagement and requires strong analytical
and project management skills.
Job Overview
Consultants provide the core of the analysis that helps D&B provide fact-based strategic insights to its
clients. Consultants are required to conduct in-depth secondary research and primary research, apply
analysis techniques, and derive meaningful insights. Consultants will work under the guidance of the
Project Manager/ Principal / Partner.
Primary Responsibilities
✓ Support the project manager with understanding client requirements, problem definition,
designing the project approach, structuring the recommendations, etc.
✓ Demonstrate good understanding of the practice area
✓ Conduct management interviews/ discussions
✓ Conduct extensive market / industry research (both primary and secondary)
✓ Analyze data to extract insights and identify patterns (qualitative as well as qualitative)
✓ Develop proxies and triangulations for difficult-to-get data points (such as revenue forecast
data, market size numbers for niche industry segments, etc.)
✓ Synthesize research findings/ trends intelligently into sharp, focused insights and strategic
recommendations
✓ Develop financial models, financial feasibilities, and business rating models
✓ Interact seamlessly with project team members to ensure we deliver high-quality strategy
consulting assignments that exceed client expectations
✓ Produce output in the form of Power Point, Excel, Word, MS project, Visio, etc.
✓ Deliver project presentations to clients
✓ Seek and assist in finalizing partners (vendors/ subject matter experts) for project execution as
well as develop partner relationships as required for project delivery
✓ Proactively provide support for internal initiatives
✓ Provide required support for business development activities in terms of concept papers,
approach notes, white papers, proposals, etc.
Preferred Experience
✓ 2-4 years of total experience with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Management Consulting
✓ Understanding of the operations of government organizations and / or large/mid-size firms
Candidate Background
✓ Bachelor’s degree (Engineering/ Commerce/ Economics) from a top-tier university; with an
MBA/ other professional qualifications (CA/ CFA) from reputed institutes
✓ Bilingual candidates with a good command of English as well as Arabic will be preferred.
