On 19th of June 2022 Sunday, Technological of the Philippines Manila Civil Engineering Society

held the Day 2 of Civil Engineering specialization webinar titled KAUSBAWAN: Coalition of
Realms Towards the Progression of Civil Engineering. ‘Kausbawan’ is a Cebuano word which
means betterment, progress, or development. The goal of the webinar is to provide information
and to help the Engineering students to choose their desired specialization for their future
careers. It was discussed two specializations: Construction Project Management which
discussed by Engr. Romeo P. Rubio, and Environmental Engineering which is discussed by
Engr. Angel Mark A. Dacara. The topic that Engr. Rubio discussed is about ‘Risk assessment
and management, decision making under risks and uncertainty’. While the topic that Engr.
Dacara discussed is about Development of Energy Efficient Building through Enabling
Renewable Energy Technologies. It was a meaningful and crucial for choosing a the right
specialization that I desire for my future career. This webinar will definitely help me to choose
the right career also the webinar provide insights about the said specialization in engineering.
