SEKHAR ALTURAS Located in Whitefield, Bangalore, this apartment sits on a corner plot with one of its sides facing Belathur road; beyond

to the inanimate and the greens to the greys; makes one feel as though every inch of this building is a thoughtful
expression of a distinctive and peculiar architecture.

Located in Guttiganahalli, Bangalore, this Villa development sits on a naturally sloping site with access from a road offset from Chikka Thirupathi road; beyond
which the green fields form a composed & relaxed sight for the viewer. Taking advantage of this setting, the Club House was placed to become the focus of the
development as well as to capture the panoramic vistas outside. All the villas were planned around the clubhouse, playgrounds and interactive garden areas
thus, creating a reciprocative neighbourhood. The 3 BHK Villas have been designed thoughtfully to provide for the essential & communal requirements of the
residents. Each individual villa’s stilt floor is the parking lot & villa entry. The living area, dining area and bedroom areas are plugged into a split level section
around the central open space of the villa. The terrace area is split into 3 levels to accommodate different activities like housekeeping, gardening & leisure.

We were asked to design about 11,000 sft. of Aurobindo Pharma’s Office space in their
manufacturing unit. Our brief was to create a contemporary environment reflecting the
brand’s core values of transparency, care and performance. Transparency and geometry
were the two main design elements used. Glass was extensively used between the main
corridor and the cabins. A barrel roof arches over the central corridor to give a sense of
lightness and space. The essence of the design is to motivate the people involved in the
company and reiterate its core values.

RESIDENCE
STATUS : UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Our 80’ x 100’ site is located inside a gated community, with the southern side abutting the access road. The house has been designed based on the Vaastu
grid while interjecting the build mass with three multilevel landscaped courtyards. These courtyards connects the different levels of the house visually, while
seamlessly allowing a gradation of spaces.

FARMHOUSE
STATUS : COMPLETED
Our picturesque site in Srirangapatnam, on the bank of the Kaveri, is an idyllic expanse
overlooking the river and the fields around. Although the site area available was about
40,000 sft, the client had decided to built ‘just enough’ and have the beautiful landscape
sprawl around the built space. We imagined it as four parallel planes placed together to
allow for a haven to form in between; a haven which would seamlessly meld with the flora
outside, and connect with the Kaveri.
The skylights slicing through the built roof allow the sunlight to wash over the parallel brick
planes, while the Jaisalmer stone and Attangudi tiles impart a very warm and earthy feel.
The yellow railings flow and bend quite conspicuously against the earthen planes.
The spaces, materials and details exist in tandem to form a synergy with the lush landscape
and the flowing Kaveri.
