Thebe Capital (Pty) Ltd is a citizen owned local compay incorporated in
the Republic Of Botswana and licenced by Non-Bank Financial Institution
Regulatory Authority (NBIFIRA) as a financing company.
Thebe Capital formation was influenced by the reality that many new and
growing companies have challenges obtaining bridge financing from
commercial banks. Thebe Capital therefore identified an opportunity in
filling the void that commercial banks have created.
Thebe Capital has built a partnership with government structures vis-a-vis
Local Government, Central government, Parastatals and Corporate bodies
thus leveraging on providing services as a citizen economic
empowerment (CEE) instrument and promoting public private
partnership (PPP). Thebe Capital is thus better positioned to be
a financier of choice to SMMEs providing supplies and services
to entities accorded purchase orders.

Thebe Capital currently offers two kinds of services and these are General Purchase Order
and Invoice Discounting.

General Purchase Order; this is where a client has not yet delivered the goods and/or
services and does not have the money to finance the order.

Invoice Discounting; this is where goods and/or services are already supplied or
provided, and money is paid against invoice earlier than due date of payment from
procuring entity

Before financing, Thebe Capital undertakes an independent due diligence and thoroughly
evaluates the business dynamics of the industry in which the client operates. This
evaluation places particular emphasis on the competitive position of the company, its
