VI. Rationale

Our Learning team from Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship at Pola Community

College had already conducted an observation along area of Sitio Proper, Barangay
Batuhan. We found out that there is a lot of garbage in their community. Together with
our learning team we decided to provide garbage bags/sacks, trash bin for biodegradable
and non-biodegradable garbage for them to segregate their garbage responsibly. And
recycle the waste to provide useful things from their waste that we will be collected.

In this simple activity, we believe that we can share our spirit in helping our
Kababayan and Mother Nature. As a student of Pola Community College, we want to be
a role model in promoting the cleanliness and the beauty of our town.

In line with this, our learning team, in partnership of MENRO, MDRRMO, and by
the guidance of our instructor Mr. Juan Miguel D. Sarabia we are gladly and excited to
conduct this activity dubbed as Project RECUP: Recycle and Clean-Up.

By this activity, we are hoping that the students, barangay officials, and all the
residents in this barangay will realize that there is something more to do on how to
protect our health and nature by maintaining the cleanliness of our surrounding and
recycle their waste.

It is a great privilege for us to conduct this kind of activity, and we are very much
happy and thankful to the people behind this project most especially to God by allowing
us to do this Project RECUP: Recycle and Clean-Up.

VII. General Objective and Expected Outcomes

The project titled RECUP: RECYCLE AND CLEAN-UP primarily aims to develop
social responsibility among the students, barangay officials, and the residents of the
barangay. The main objective of our project proposal is to suggest a monthly general
cleaning of the barangay officials and volunteered individuals to maintain the
cleanliness of the area and recycle their waste.

Specifically, it aims to:

a. to make every people responsible to the needs of the environments.

b. to maintain the cleanliness of the coastal area
c. teaching them to value what the nature can give and what we give to the nature.
d. to recycle the waste that we will be collected
e. become a better community by doing this project everywhere and make every
coastal area a spot that the tourist will love.
VIII. Implementation Strategies

Our learning team together with our parents and barangay officials of barangay will
have a meeting to plan on how to conduct our Project RECUP. In this meeting, we will
also be discussed on how to apply our Project RECUP as monthly routine so the
garbage will be lessened and make a use of the waste. We will also coordinate to the
barangay officials to help us during this activity. We will also make a solicitation letter
for our Municipal Mayor together with the Sangguniang Bayan to raise extra fund for our
project.

venue and other matters concerning the conduct of the project will be prepared and
double checked. The schedule of implementation will be followed. School head and
