ECM

The ECM is located under the Heater in front of the Centre Consol.
It incorporates a self diagnosis facility.
When an out of range signal occurs;
A Fault Code is logged and recorded in the ECM and the Check Engine Light is
illuminated.
With intermittent faults, the Check Engine Light may extinguish.
The Fault Code, however, will remain stored in the ECM unless it is erased.
