Forbidden Stars – Additional Balancing mechanisms

As per the discussion with one of the designers, Samuel Bailey, 2 suggested rules to balance the
game:

1. Catch-up mechanism Token

HOW TO USE:

- Give at start of round to the player in last position - i.e. with least objective(s) won back
- If they stop being last place, they give it up at the end of the round
- If tied players for last position, neither receive the token
- The token does not resolve any order, but can still be placed as a 5th token to:
o block an opponent,
o be taken off the board during the player's turn instead of resolving one of their
other order tokens.

HOW TO PRINT:

- Print on Card - with no scaling (i.e. 100%)  should print at 32mm diameter
- Can glue together
- Then cut off black corners
- Then ideally insert in a coin capsule (32mm or 32.5mm) – if you want to hide its use, then
best to also insert all the other order tokens in coin capsules also (same size)

2. Additional Rule to balance Ultra-marines:

- Ultra-marines start with a Bastion (to make them a bit stronger)
