● Student must pass the most recent STAAR exams, or be NWEA grade-level proficient (if
STAAR not taken);
● Student must maintain “C” grade of higher in “foundation curriculum” (ex. Math, Reading)
courses taken in-person or remotely in the previous school year.
● Student must have no more than 10% unexcused absences during the previous school
year.
● **High School students should have taken enough credits and completed required classes in
previous years to be admitted to the grade level they are applying to.

GRADING GUIDELINES
Kindergarten report cards use the Grading Scale (1st-12th graders)
following: ● A 90-100
● B 80-89
E: Excellent
S: Satisfactory ● C 75-79
N: Needs Improvement ● D 70-74
X: Not Assessed at This Time. ● F Below 69

Tutorials
● Students will be assessed at the beginning of the year to
determine what help to assign students to address learning gaps
● Extended tutorials and Office Hours will be available
● Intervention pull-outs during the school hours

Attendance
● The student has to have at least 90% attendance in class to pass and
receive credit.
● 10 or more absences may initiate involuntary withdrawal.
● K-12th graders are expected to attend their synchronize classes. If a student
cannot attend their synchronize classes due to some extenuating
circumstances (such as medical reasons, technical difficulties),
parents/guardians can email to notify the teacher and the student can
complete the lesson asynchronously and must send assigned exit ticket
before 11:59 pm same day for the attendance.

Virtual Clubs & Organizations
● We will offer Virtual Clubs & Organizations
● Club events will be held on schoology/google classroom groups.
● Club events will be held after-school.
● Attendance will be taken by Skyward

Virtual Home Visit
● Virtual home visits help teachers establish trusting relationships with
students and families, even when you cannot meet face-to-face.
● There will be a 20-30 minute scheduled video call between a teacher
and a student’s family.
● Parents/Guardians will receive a request from school person for Virtual
Home Visits.

● For all new 6th -12th harmony students
