08 AUG, 2022 (MONDAY):
MONTHLY TURNOVER PROCEDURE This report shows all the accounts in the Branch, where actual Dr/ Cr Turnovers deviate from the expected KYC/CDD turnovers set in the system.
The report is basic tool for monitoring financial activity of customer(s).
It can be used to monitor the Turnover Exception for unusual and out-of-pattern transactions; identify and report suspicious activity (if any) as per the process of reporting as defined in Handbook.
09 AUG, 2022 (TUESDAY):
Branch manager will ensure the report is reviewed on monthly basis, and identify significant deviations using his own judgment to ascertain need of revising KYC profile of customer using On-going Monitoring Form. Turnover Exception report is generated on monthly basis and shall be available on next working day of month end. BM/BOM (in absence of BM) shall sign off the report.
10 AUG, 2022 (WEDNESDAY):
ATM Operations ATM is one of the most important e-banking delivery channels. Account holders have the facility to withdraw cash, inquire balances and transfer funds 24/7. The ATM team continues to work 365 days a year with the basic aim of ensuring smooth and error free ATM operations. ATM monitoring team’s job is to constantly monitor the status and health of each ATM and in case of any disruption immediately coordinate between the branch and relevant party for ATM restoration.
11 AUG, 2022 (THURSDAY):
ATM CCTV/DVR Surveillance Camera CCTV stands for Closed Circuit TV. ATM CCV/ DVR systems are used for surveillance of all customer transactions that take place at ATM premises. Branch must intimate ATM Support Team if camera is not available. BM/BOM must ensure that security cameras installed in the ATM cabin are working properly and DVRs are operational to record the activities round the clock without an interruption. The Camera in the ATM lobby should be installed not capture the ATM PIN Pad. Also, it should be placed to clearly record and visualize all the activities in ATM vicinity. CCTV Camera outside the ATM cabin is sufficiently covering the ATM entrance.
12 AUG, 2022 (FRIDAY):
Identify Any Cash Difference (Excess/Short) branches should reconcile all the transactions posted in ATM Cash Account with the following by referring STAN number ATM Controller Report ATM Journal Roll (EJ) Cash Excess 1. 1. If ATM Physical Cash is more than GL then it is Cash Excess 2. If the transaction status is other than “OK/Approved” and appear in ATM Cash GL Account then it is cash excess. 3. Branch will send transaction details at cen.atmbalancing@mcbislamicbank.com as per EJ Roll for further verification and settlement. Format Attached (Annexure-66). 4. Centralized ATM Balancing Team identifies the Excess Fund(s) and guides branch to park the same Excess GL
