Avantajları
Teknoloji kavramının hayatımıza girişi 17.Yüzyıl’a dayanmaktadır. Hayatımızın neredeyse her
yerinde teknolojinin bir izini görürüz. Neredeyse en çok sağlık alanında teknolojiyi kullanırız.
Teknolojinin hayatımıza kattığı avantajlar şu şekilde sıralanabilir;

1.0 - Sağlık Alanı (Salgın Hastalıklar) : Yaklaşık 3 yıldır hayatımızda devamlılığını sürdüren korona
virüs ( covid-19 ) salgını teknolojinin gelişimini ne kadar etkilemiş de olsa yapılan çalışmalar
sonucunda teknoloji yardımıyla bir çok aşı geliştirilmiştir, Dünya Sağlık Örgütü ( DSÖ ) ‘ ne göre
Covid-19 salgını 2022 yılı içerisinde bitebilir.

1.1 – Sağlık Alanı ( Kanser ve Kanserli Hücreler ) : Kanser, hücrelerde DNA'nın hasarı sonucu
hücrelerin kontrolsüz veya anormal bir şekilde büyümesi ve çoğalmasıdır, kanserin çeşitleri olduğu
gibi her çeşidine uygun tedavi henüz yoktur fakat her geçen gün bilim, teknoloji ve nanoteknoloji
sayesinde gelişen tedavi yöntemleri ve ilaçlar geliştirilmektedir., Türkiye'de ilk olarak İÜ Cerrahpaşa
Tıp Fakültesi'nde üretilmeye başlanan Nöroendokrin tümör tedavisinde kullanılan ve yan etki
göstermeden, doğrudan kanserli hücreye etki eden ilaç . İÜ Cerrahpaşa Üniversitesi’nin teknoloji
sayesinde elde ettiği başarılardan biri.

2 – Sağlık Hizmetleri (Mr- Kolonoskopi Cihazı – Yapay Zeka – Röntgen Cihazı- vb. cihazlar) : Yakın
geçmişte yaşanılan Tıp devrimleri ve Tıp’ın teknoloji ile bütünleşmesi neredeyse bütün tıp dallarında
kullanılmak üzere üretilen cihazların gelişmesine sebep olmuştur. Bu cihazların kanserli hücreleri
görmesi, ölen dokuları bulması, kırılan kemiklerin bulunmasına yardımcı olması gibi durumlar
hayatımıza birçok kolaylık sağlamıştır.

3 – Diş Sağlığı: Diş hekimleri geçmişte daha çok ilkel yöntemler kullansa da günümüzde teknoloji
sayesinde kullandığı yöntemler çağımızın ötesinde. Gelişen teknoloji sayesinde hayatımıza giren
cihazlardan birkaçı şunlardır; Otoklav, RVG, Ağız İçi Kamera, Lazer, Tükürük emici-suction, Hava su
spreyi, Aerator, Anguldruva vb. cihazlar.

Teknoloji bizi ölümsüz kılar mı sorusu çok zor bir cevaba sahip fakat her geçen gün gelişen
teknoloji akıllara devamlı bu soruyu getiriyor. Teknolojinin iyi yönde gelişimi her zaman bizim için bir
avantaj olmuştur fakat yapay zekânın inanılmaz hızlı büyümesi, kötü yönde gelişmesi her zaman
korkutucu olmuştur. Dilerim teknoloji hep iyi yönde, sağlığımızı daim kılacak şekilde gelişir.
 Advantages of Technology in the Field of
Health
The introduction of the concept of technology into our lives dates back to the 17th century. We
see a trace of technology almost everywhere in our lives. We use technology almost the most in the
field of health. The advantages that technology adds to our lives can be listed as follows;

1.0 - Health Area (Epidemic Diseases) : Although the corona virus ( COVID-19) epidemic, which has
been continuing in our lives for about 3 years, has affected the development of technology, as a
result of the studies conducted, many vaccines have been developed with the help of
technology, According to the World Health Organization ( WHO ), the Covid-19 pandemic may
end in 2022.

1.1 - Health Field ( Cancer and Cancerous Cells ) : Cancer is the uncontrolled or abnormal growth and
proliferation of cells as a result of DNA damage in cells, as there are varieties of cancer, there is no
suitable treatment for all types yet, but every day, thanks to science, technology and
nanotechnology, developing treatment methods and drugs are being developed., A drug used in the
treatment of neuroendocrine tumors that was first started to be produced at the Cerrahpasa Faculty
of Medicine of IU in Turkey and acts directly on the cancer cell without side effects . One of the
achievements achieved by IU Cerrahpasa University thanks to technology.

2 - Medical Services (Mri- Colonoscopy Device – Artificial Intelligence – X-ray Device- etc. devices) :
The recent medical revolutions and the integration of Medicine with technology have led to the
development of devices manufactured for use in almost all branches of medicine. The fact that these
devices can see cancerous cells, find dead tissues, help find broken bones has provided our lives with
many conveniences.

3 - Dental Health: : Although dentists used more primitive methods in the past, the methods they
use today are beyond our era thanks to technology. Some of the devices that have entered our lives
thanks to the developing technology are; Autoclave, RVG, Intraoral Camera, Laser, Saliva absorber-
suction, Air water spray, Aerator, Anguldruva, etc. devices.

The question of whether technology makes us immortal has a very difficult answer, but technology
that is developing every day constantly brings this question to mind. The development of technology
in a good direction has always been an advantage for us, but the incredibly rapid growth of artificial
intelligence, its development in a bad direction, has always been frightening. I hope that technology
will always develop in a good way, in a way that will make our health permanent.
