For this, you need an image editing software for image manipulation practices.
1. Adobe Photoshop

6. InPixio
Image File Format refer to how data associated to the image will be stored.
It can be compressed to decrease file size of the image.
There are two different compression you can choose when enhancing your
images: loss and lossless compression.
Loss compression reduces file size by removing redundant information means
that some data from the image file is lost.
Lossless compression retains values and manages to lower file size
JPEG/JPG
The JPG was developed by the Joint Photographic Experts Group to store large
image files. It can compress images from 0% (heavy compression) to 100% (no
compression) by pixelating sections of the image.
However, even if one selects the highest quality setting (100%), it still is lossy in
nature because it’s reducing color information.
PNG
The GIF format is a type of bitmap, but unlike JPEG or PNG, GIF files are limited
to a maximum palette of 256 colors.
Essentially each GIF image contains a preset ‘box of crayons’ and there is no
way to truly mix those colors to make new colors.
TIFF
Is a lossless raster format hailed for its extremely high image quality. Often the
format used by professionals in creative industries, these files require a large
amount of storage space and are a challenge to share unless zipped or sent
using file-sharing tools.
