1 Describes the lines, shapes, colors, textures, and designs seen in the skin
coverings of different animals and sea creatures using visual art words and
actions

2 Designs with the use of drawing and painting materials the sea or forest
animals in their habitats showing their unique shapes and features, variety
of colors and textures in their skin.

3 Creates designs by using two or more kinds of lines, colors and shapes by
repeating or contrasting them to show rhythm.

Intervention Plan:

The intervention that will be done for the new normal settings is different and really
challenging since we can’t do it face to face. We must plan ways on how we can reach out to
our pupils with or without internet access or gadgets.

The most appropriate and safe way is using different platforms like Google Meet or
Messenger in which I can communicate with them through video chat. I will show them some
pictures or videos showing different kinds of animals with different colors and designs of their
skin covering and explain to them the concepts regarding the topic. Likewise, on the
competency of creating designs, I’ll ask them to draw using two or more kinds of lines, colors
and shapes. They should practice this skill and take a picture of their work and they will send it
to me.

But for those who don’t have internet access and gadgets, printed materials should be
available for them. We can talk to the parents personally during submission or retrieval of
modules and give them the material. Making phone calls for follow up is also a way to monitor
their development

Impact of Intervention on the Least Learned Skills in ARTS for the

2ND Quarter Assessment Test - GRADE II

S.Y. 2021 – 2022

Since we are in the new normal settings, we should consider what applicable or
appropriate interventions are suited for them. We should take into consideration who among
them have gadgets, have internet access, have parents or guardians who will assist them.
Likewise, we should give them activities that are short, simple and enjoyable.

Aside from video calls, video chat on messenger or any form of communication
providing them with enrichment activities is also one way to help our struggling pupils.

After conducting the interventions, we were able to help those pupils who have
least mastered on the competencies and they showed improvements in their performance.

The following pictures show how interventions were done and the additional
enrichment activities for the least learned skills.
