Good Morning, I’m Sally Abigail and I’m currently at the largest art museum in

the world and one of Paris most famous tourist attractions. “Museum de Louvre”.
If you’re wondering about what is this museum about. Well, It is well known for
being the home of Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, one of the most valuable
paintings in museums today. The Louvre museum is located inside the Louvre
Palace, in the centre of Paris.

This museum was built in the late 12th to 13th century under Philip II and on 10
August 1793 it was opened for the first time with an exhibition of 527 paintings.
Nowadays, the Louvre’s collection is one of the richest in the world,
with artwork and artifacts representative of 11,000 years of human
civilization and culture.

The Louvre palace was begun by King Francis I in 1546 on the site of a
12th-century fortress built by King Philip II. Francis was a great art
collector, and the Louvre was made to serve as his royal residence and
that’s why it was built.

If you’re wondering what’s more inside and out of the museum, you
should go visit as well to see more incredible arts.
