Male primary school teachers find attending to students' toileting, dressing, grooming, and hygiene needs difficult as they are not accustomed to these tasks. Several teachers expressed challenges with cleaning up students who soiled themselves, as well as washing clothes and contacting parents in these situations. While acknowledging they have no choice but to handle these needs, many teachers find it taxing to take on responsibilities they are not used to performing outside of school.
