DEFINITION

Any device that sends data from

a computer to another device or
user is considered an output
device. The majority of computer
data output for humans is in the
form of audio or video.

LCD Projector Panels

The source light is passed

through the three colored liquid
crystal display light panels by an
LCD projector. To form the
images on the screen, the panels
allow some colors to pass
through while blocking others.
 Microfiche

A microfiche is a card made of

transparent film that is used to
store miniaturized printed
information. To read the card,
place it under the magnifying
lens of a microfiche reader
machine.
 Monitors

Also known as a VIDEO

DISPLAY UNIT.
it can be use to display
images, text, videos, and
graphic information
generated by connected
computer.

 CATHODE RAY TUBE
(CRT)
This is the old monitor were built by
fluorescent screen and cathode ray
tube.
It uses a beam of electron to form a
image on the screen
This is heavy and large size that may
occupy your table desk.
FLAT PANEL MONITORS
These monitors are more
efficient as they reject
harmful radiation.
This is a lightweight and less
space.

CONTAINS LIQUID SUBSTANCE
The grain of this substance are
aligned in a way that the light
located backside on the screens to
form a image or block.
Less radiation
It can give clear picture compared to
CRT
GAS PLASMA DISPLAY
Operate by gas plasma
technology.
When a voltage applied, the
gas releases ultraviolet.
Using of this ultraviolet light,
the pixels on the screen glow
and form a image/picture.

Known as an output device and it allow
the users to interact on a computer using
a finger instead of mouse or keyboard
LED MONITORS
It is a flat screen computer monitor,
which stands for light-emitting
diode display. It is lightweight in
terms of weight and has a short
depth.

 Printer

A printer is a piece of hardware

that is used to create a hard copy
and print any document. A
document can be of any type,
including text, image, or a
combination of the two.

Laser Printer Solid Ink Printers LED Printers

 Projector

It is an optical device that

projects an image onto a
surface, typically a projection
screen.
Most projectors create an
image by projecting light
through a small transparent
lens, but some newer types of
projectors can project the
image directly, using lasers.
 Plotter
A graphics printer that uses ink
pens to draw images. Plotters are
computer hardware devices like a
printer that prints vector graphics.
Plotters are also referred to as
large-format printers and wide-
format printers. They were the
first type of output device that
could print high-resolution
continuous lines, text, and images
with color and generate graphics
and full-sized engineering
drawings.

COMPUTER-OUTPUT-
ON-MICROFILM
(also known as computer output
microfilm) is a method of copying
data from a computer storage
medium to a microfilm.
Microfiche or 16mm roll microfilm
can be used to create COM. a
technology that allows
computers' output to be
recorded.
 Headphone

Headphones are a pair of small

speakers used for listening to
sound from a computer, music
player or other such electronic
device. Headphones originally
consisted of one speaker for
each ear, connected by a band
over the head.
 Speaker

device for converting electrical

energy into acoustical signal
energy that is radiated into a
room or open air.
 Visual Display
Unit
Abbreviated as VDU, is a device that
displays images generated by a
computer or other electronic device.
It presents information, events or
situations at home, at work, or in
public places. The term VDU is often
used synonymously with monitors,
but can also refer to another type of
display, such as a digital projector.
Visual display units may be peripheral
devices or may be integrated with the
other components.
 Movie recorder
Or most commonly known as film
recorder, is a graphical output
device for transferring images to
photographic film from a digital
source. The image is fed from a
host computer as a raster stream
over a digital interface. It is used
in digital printing to generate
master negatives for offset and
other bulk printing processes,
and is available for a variety of
film types and formats.
