Decorum and Security Measures
1. To enter the Convention Center, parent/guest are required to present their OFFICIAL GATE PASS;
SPC Employees need to present their SPC ID card.
2. Admission to the venue shall start at 12:00 NOON. Eucharistic Mass will commence at exactly 1:00
P.M. The interns are encouraged to come on time. Only the main entrance door of the SMX
Convention Center will be used. Lift will be used only for those with direct involvement in the ingress
and egress of the ceremonies (e.g. Physical Arrangement, Diplomas and Awards, etc.).
4. Firearms should be surrendered upon entry to the authorized personnel on-duty at the main
entrance of the SM Lanang Premier.
5. Each intern is allowed ONLY 1 PERSON AS GUEST who can get into the lobby and hall. Children
aged 0-8 years old are NOT ALLOWED to enter the SMX Convention lobby and hall.
6. There are restrooms within the lobby of the Convention Center; one need not go to the mall area
for personal necessities.
7. Parents / Guests who would leave the Convention Center while the program is on progress will no
longer be allowed to enter without the required GATE PASS.
8. Mobile phones and any electronic gadgets should be put off or set in silent mode before entering
the Convention Center and while the ceremony is going on.
9. Guests are requested NOT to bring bags bigger than the usual bags for formal occasions.
10. Eating, drinking, smoking, laughing/talking aloud are prohibited while the program is going on.
11. Interns should inform parents, friends, and relatives that giving of flowers is allowed ONLY after
the recessional march.
12. Interns should inform parents, friends, and relatives of the proper attire during the ceremonies. All
guests are required to dress decently.
For women, decent attire means NONE OF THE FOLLOWING: (a) plunging necklines, (b)
“spaghetti” straps, (c) jeans, leggings, tights, jeggings, and the like, (d) “see-through” apparels, (e) hanging
blouses, (f) sleeveless blouses, (g) mini-skirts, (h) bakya, rubber sandals, slippers, or slips-on, (i) athletic/city
short pants, (j) pedal pants, and (k) cargo pants.
For men, decent attire means NONE OF THE FOLLOWING: (a) athletic/city short pants, (b)
sleeveless shirts, (c) jeans, (d) cargo pants, (e) “see-through” shirts, and (f) rubber sandals/slippers or slips-
on.
13. Loitering is strictly NOT allowed during the ceremony. Guests may take pictures only from
where they are officially seated. ONLY official photographers are allowed to take pictures at the
aisle and the area near the stage. Use of tripods is also prohibited.
14. Pinning Ceremony is a solemn occasion; thus, everyone ought to observe silence during the entire
proceedings.
15. CAUTION: Interns, parents, and guests MUST refrain from flocking on stage for picture taking after
the ceremony as the stage may collapse when overloaded.
