RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS

This chapter discusses the results and discussion from 101 questionnaires completed by Grade 11

and 12 ABM, STEM, HUMMS, and TVL students of San Sebastian College Recoletos de

Cavite. The purpose of this study was to identify the Performance Amidst the Pandemic of the

Online Business of Senior High School Students.

The objectives of the study were to identify the following:

 To determine the performance of the online business of the senior high school students.

 To determine the level of success of the online business of the senior high school

students.

Questionnaires were given to the Grade 11 & 12 ABM, STEM, HUMMS, and TVL students

through an online survey. Indicating there with their permission to participate in the study. A

total of one hundred one (101) Grade 11 & 12 ABM, STEM, HUMMS, and TVL students of San

Sebastian College Recoletos de Cavite have completed questionnaires.

In line with this, the survey has 6 questions that the researcher would want to know:

 Gender

 Grade

 Strand

 Item Sold

 How much was your initial investment?

 Average monthly income from the business

Out of 101 respondents, 53(52.48%) of them is female have an online business amidst the

pandemic. On the other hand, 48(47.52%) of them is male that have an online business amidst

the pandemic. The findings show that the majority of the respondents have an online business is

female.

Out of 101 respondents, 82(81.19%) of them is Grade 12 have an online business amidst

the pandemic. However, 19(18.81%) of them is Grade 11 have an online business amidst the

pandemic and its either male or female. The findings resulted that the majority of the respondents

have an online business is Grade 12.

Out of 101 respondents, 39(38.61%) of them is ABM have an online business amidst the

pandemic. While the least of them 16(15.84%) is HUMMS that have an online business amidst

the pandemic. The findings indicate that many of the respondents have an online business is the

strand ABM.

Out of 101 respondents, 55(54.46%) of them is selling a Food business through online

method that satisfy customers. While the least of them 10(9.90%) is selling an Accessories

through online method. The findings show that majority of the respondents have an online food

business.

Out of 101 respondents, 36(35.64%) of them is invested 1000 pesos for their online

business to have a fresh start. While the least of them 19(18.81%) is invested above 3000 pesos

for their online business. The findings resulted that many of the respondents initially invested

medium amount of money in online business as their fresh start because it’s a good budget.

Out of 101 respondents, 47(46.53%) of them is averaged monthly income of 1000 – 1599 pesos

to their business. While the least of them 11(10.89%) is have an average monthly income of

above 4000 pesos to their business. The findings indicate that most of the respondents that have

an online business is averaging monthly income of 1000 – 1599 pesos depending on the types of

business.
