Title: New Springs and Piston for Hoist
Purpose: Product Improvement Kit

BRADEN announces the availability of a new product improvement kit, Part Number 64495. This upgrade is designed
to lengthen hoist brake service life. It includes the following:
• New pistons with hardened outer surface and a special coating to improve durability
• New brake spring designed to provide more consistent spring force (requiring the use of new piston stop, Part
Number 108678)
• New O-rings with an improved self-lubricating compound to extend service life

This upgrade is available for the following hoists and drives:

• CH330A • TD400A
• CH400A • CH500A
• RW300 • CH600A

NOTE: Always replace all O-rings and seals when hoist or drive is disassembled.

Use extreme caution when removing the existing brake spring. Refer to service manual for proper disassembly and
assembly procedures.
