Project Title: FEEDING PROGRAM FOR KIDS

II. Nature of the project:

Moderately malnourished children can often be successfully rehabilated on an outpatient or
domestic basis. One common problem in our community are food. Almost every Filipino are
suffering hunger and are starving to death. That affects our children and their growth. There are
about 6 million malnourished children on the Philippines. This pandemic has affected each and
every one of us. Feeding programs entail providing a meal or snack to children. Feeding
program is the most outreached solution we could offer to our barangay.

III. Target Community: The Children of Purok 6 Sitio Alang Alang Barangay Villa Bota
IV. Objectives:
• To provide adequate nutrition to children of our barangay, as the children are the direct
recipients of this project.

• To reduced and prevent the malnutrition in the community.

• To provide the children with all the nutrients they need for a healthy growth.

• To provide an estimate of the nutritional requirements of children with moderate

malnutrition.

• To improve the nutritional health of children.

VIII. Projected Outcome:

Feeding programs empower them and give them proper nutrition to go on with their everyday
lives. Ultimately, the benefits of feeding programs go beyond providing nutritious. This project
could help supplement the problem for malnourished children through providing them with
healthy meals. Our feeding programs provide a healthy diet to children, though simple, which
facilitates their healthy growth and development. It keeps the children away from nutritional
diseases.
