Rodrigo Roa Duterte, also known as Digong and Rody, is the current president of the Philippines and the first from
Mindanao to hold the office. He is the most influential president of all time due to his vocal support for the extrajudicial killing
of drug users and other criminals. His administration focuses on combating the illegal drug trade by initiating the
controversial War on Drugs, fighting crime and corruption, and launching a massive infrastructure plan. He is probably the
powerful president due to his knowledge in law and military process.

Do you agree with these lines: “Truth hurts” and “Truth will set you free?” Explain your answer.

Yes, the truth hurts for a while, but it will set you free for a lifetime. It is always better to accept the truth for freedom than
embrace lies for fleeting comfort. It is not good to be locked up by the things you just wanted to believe, you have to open
your eyes to witness a painful sight, open your ears to hear the unheard sides and open your mind to surmise the things
that are worth to believe. To suffer from a painful truth is better than to be blinded by sugar coated lies.
