Share some of your knowledge on the goals, scope, and principles of counseling to a
younger sister or brother or to a friend who is not yet in Grade 11. Do this in a
manner that will facilitate easy understanding. If you are going to share it with a
friend, do it through a phone call, messenger, or text messaging. After sharing your
knowledge, ask them if they want to be a counselor in the future. Ask them also for
the reason why they want to be a counselor or not. Reflect on their responses and
answer the following questions.

 My friend said that she views counseling as the act of helping other people
with their problems and difficulties in life.
2. What are the things he or she like or does not like in the counseling practice?
 she wants to be a counselor someday. She likes helping other people and she
was amazed by how a social worker solves the problem of other people.
