Title: Social Class in Workplace Diversity

Short Description:

Any society's class notion is distinguished by inequities and is high in inequity certain
cultures Where there is a clear distinction between classes, they speak for
themselves. The upper crust class refers to a restricted group of wealthy and lucky
people who are capable of achieving their goals. They gain from their superior
material wealth and higher living standards. This other classes who are poorer in
terms of wealth are envious of this class. In society, influence and admiration are
important.

Personal Insight:

The Social Class in Workplace Diversity there is evidence now that people from the
working and middle classes are looking for opportunities upward movement As a
result, there has been a paradigm change, with an increase in the middle class with
goals for a better and more tolerable standard of living. The problem of the concept
of caste, which determines one's social status, is deeply rooted in traditional India.
Since birth, an individual has existed in society.

Conclusion:

Workplace diversity is still influenced by social class. Despite the idea that class
differences may have played a role, although disparities have been addressed in
mature societies, they still exist in developing countries. This is the great gap in
income, wealth, and prestige among the population is exemplified by the fact that in
an organization, there are various categories of employees.

Title: The Impact of Culture on Workplace Diversity

Short Description:

Culture is defined as a system of rules, values, beliefs, ceremonies, and language


that are shared by people. A bunch of people then followed. Although one might
speak of culture in isolation, it does not exist in isolation a well-educated individual
because of their shared values and views, they form one group. As a result, they add
to the diversity of communities around the world.

Personal Insight:

Cultural competency training becomes more important as more cultures collaborate.


It is necessary to avoid difficulties. Cultural issues can range from misinterpretation
to discrimination. All of this puts effective worker productivity and performance at
risk. Developing understanding, communicating with, and effectively communicating
with people from different cultures is the consequence of cultural competency.
Interact with people from different cultures and work with their different cultural ideas.

Conclusion:

It is vital for effective work and teamwork to provide accurate and timely information
performance. This is especially critical when a project is in peril and requires rapid
attention.

The foreign worker is an important part of workplace diversity. A worker like this is
described as someone who comes to work in a host country from another country.
Foreign labor was required for jobs that the locals did not value.

Personal Insight:

This, on the other hand, harms emerging countries with a brain drain emigration of
bright people who are better placed economically in their new country to their
homeland. Diversity is impacted by the issue of foreign labor.

Conclusion:

By focusing on the foreign worker, this chapter addressed a major component of


workplace diversity. It is well recognized that the foreign worker contributes to the
economy to diversity in terms of his abilities Rich countries are more likely to have
highly educated citizens relying on uneducated labor rather than educated and
competent workers.

Short Description:

This chapter begins by defining the term "disability" using numerous sources,
particularly dictionaries, which allow anybody to compare and contrast the many
terminology used. The phrase "impaired worker" is more appropriate in general, and
this is what is used in this chapter. The capacity to use one's brain correctly despite
a physical impairment will almost certainly allow one to work without difficulty in the
office.

Personal Insight:

Being a disability worker may quickly distinguish the individual from those who are
regarded as "normal." It's also worth noting that, in order to better accommodate
disabled workers in the workplace, businesses must offer them with the tools and
technology they need to do their jobs properly, such as specially designed
equipment, adapted tools and technology, a lighter burden, and more.

Conclusion:

The problem of disability was addressed in this chapter, which is another apparent
part of the diversity model. According to what can be read and seen in the lesson,
modern societies are becoming more open and positive about disability
discrimination after centuries of discrimination and stigmatization. Disabled
employees, depending on their ability to work, can be productive for their employers
if they are effectively accommodated at work and have working conditions that allow
them to offer their best.

Title: SPECIAL TOPIC LGBT Issues in Workplace Diversity

Short Description:

This chapter, along with the following one, addresses current difficulties in diversity
by inviting new types of diversity that are widely discussed but undervalued. In
today's workplace, new sorts of diversity have a global influence and must be
appropriately addressed, or they will continue to be challenges without a proper
resolution.

Personal Insight:

In communities where people were expected to follow conventional norms and


mores including growing up, getting married, and having children according to
society's established ways of life, being gay was widely regarded as 'uncatholic.' The
issue is that most countries, whether mature or developing, are hostile to lesbians,
gays, homosexuals, and other sexual minorities, believing that their behavior is
antisocial and so immoral in society.

Conclusion:

In comparison to the conventional school of diversity, which included age, gender,


cultural distinctions, and so on, the LGBT issue takes a more modern perspective.
Today, there is a little more consideration, with some employers taking this into
account and empowering people in this group to express themselves more freely at
work.
