Dear Diary,

In Drama class today, the theme was acting out expressions. We were
taught by teachers from the LAMDA facility and I really enjoyed their
session.
My group consisted of Davina and I, together we created a little skit on
giving out gifts and awaiting an unexpected reaction and facial
expression. I think my group worked diligently and really focused on
finding the perfect reactions to some certain gifts. Especially when
Davina felt insulted by the gift she received from me and stormed off
because I accused her of not wearing proper clothes.
We then watched other pair performances in our class as they performed
“gift giving”. They used gesture to suggest disapproval and shock from
the gifts they were given. Facial expressions were used to convey anger,
sadness, and happiness. Last but not least, they used levels to show who
was in charge of giving the gifts and the receiver of the gifts.
Our teachers today were Miss Evelyn and Miss Bethany and I truly
enjoyed their lesson.

Best regards,

Your owner (Nicole)
