Weco ULT Plug Valve (3-inch and larger)

Weco® ULT plug valve is a premium quarter-run valve designed for a wide range of standard and sour
gas drilling, production, and well servicing applications at pressures up to 20,000 psi. The unique ULT
design allows superior sealing capabilities and increases the service life to 2.5 times more than other
designs while reducing maintenance cost.

• Two-Piece Floating Plug/Stem - Proprietary floating plug and stem uniformly distribute load against the
downstream seat to improve sealability and reduce plug wear.
• Fast, Simple Field Repair – Bottom entry design provides access to all valve internals without having to
remove the operator or actuator.
• Handles Sand, Proppant, & Cement - Linear wave springs maintains contact between plug and seal to
prevent small particles from entering metal-to-metal seal area, enabling use in a broad range of applications.
• Eliminate Body Washout, Extends Body Life – Dual seals direct flow between the seal segment and
plug to provide long, trouble free service life.
• Nickel Plated Plug – Nickel plated plug provides superior metal to metal sealing, corrosion resistance and

Actual inspection and repair records from customers’ field
locations, which included data for over 650 plug valves,
has proved that FMC 3” ULT150 plug valve lasts 2.5 times
longer than competitors’ valve.

FMC plug valve’s rejection rate continues to outperform

all other brands with a total rejection rate of only 7%
compared to 16% of the competitors’ plug valves.
