CHOMBA AMAMBAL RONALD JULLAN

1627054
Good morning teacher, this time we are going to talk about people we
admire.
Start: Adriana met Ronald in the computer room at the university.
Ronald: Hi Adriana, who do you admire?
START
Adriana: Hi Ronald, I just read Mario Vargas Llosa's book and I admire it.
Ronald: Interesting! How was the book?
Adriana: Fantastic! "Conversation in the Cathedral" was definitely a great
work of art, my first book by Vargas Llosa. My friend Rosa suggested it to me
and I loved it. I want to read some more of the books from him.
Ronald: Let me see. Where did he born?
Adriana: She was born in Arequipa in 1936.
Ronald: You're right!
Adriana: Let me tell you more. Her mother told her a lie about her father. she
told him that her father had died, but, in 1946, her father showed up
unexpectedly to take it from her mother's parents. Later, Mario and his
parents moved to Lima. as he got older he read books by Dumas and Victor
Hugo.
Ronald: Interesting! He has had a difficult life. How could he achieve his
goals?

KNOT
Adriana: Well, in fact, some personal episodes have been the inspiration for
his novels. Between 1950 and 1951 he studied at the Leoncio Prado Military
Academy, where his father sent him to forget his literary ambition through
military discipline. However, Vargas Llosa rebelled against paternal
oppression, not only pursuing a career as a writer, but also falling in love with
his maternal uncle's sister-in-law, Julia Urquidi. Julia was once years older
than him. She gained all these experiences to write her novel Aunt Julia and
The Screenwriter, published in 1977.

Ronald: I think he has gained a lot of experience.

Adriana: He also ran for president of Peru, but lost to Alberto
Fujimori. Vargas Llosa has always been politically engaged. Also,
many of his novels deal with society and power.
Ronald: Have you won any awards?
Adriana: She was awarded the 2010 Nobel Prize for Literature.
Adriana: And you, Ronald, who do you admire?
Ronald: To Gaston Acurio. I consider that he has become an
international chef from Peru. He has opened at least 34 restaurants
dedicated to different specialties of Peruvian food, in 11 countries
around the world. Furthermore, he was born in Peru on October 30,
1967.
Adriana: wow that's great, where do I study?
Ronald: Gastón Acurio studied at El Cordon Bleu in Paris, and he
got married there. Both have opened the restaurant "Astrid &
Gaston" in Lima. By the years. Acurio has begun to experiment with
the Peruvian offer, in this way, as he has revalidated Peruvian
cuisine. In addition, he has many achievements as a chef, creative
OUTCOME
and entrepreneur.
Adriana: Very interesting what you tell me ronald
Adriana: To conclude, I greatly admire Gastón Acurio because he
has managed to make our gastronomy known with effort and
dedication.
Thank You
See You Next Time
