Motivational Activity: Looking for your Soul mate


Directions: Prior to the Lesson, the Mapeh Class President will tape Heart cutouts underneath the
chairs of the entire class. Each heart had been cut in half, and each half only fits its proper pair. In
this activity, the students will try to find their halves within one minute. The pairs that will be formed
will be the pairing for the other activities in the entire lesson.

Directions: The pairs that were decided during the first activity will

Discussion; INFATUATION
- is the state of being completely carried away by unreasoning passion or love; addictive love which
occurs at the beginning of relationships when sexual attraction is central.
ATTRACTION - is admiration for someone that
may include the desire to get to know the person better and usually takes place.
COURTSHIP - is the period in a couple's relationship which precedes their
engagement and marriage or it is an establishment of an agreed relationship.
DATING - is a social activity which involves two or more people generally assessing each
other's sustainability for a potential relationship. It can also be enjoyed as part of an already active
relationship.

ACTIVITY: WHERE DO I BELONG In this


activity, several words will be presented on the screen. the students, the pairs will answer if the
corresponding pictures denotes infatuation, attraction, courtship or dating. Answers will be written on
a answer board (illustration board and chalk) provided to the pairs. 1. Extreme emotional feelings
of happiness and sadness depending on the partner 2. Talking with each other about
their likes and dislikes. 3. Doing activities with each other
4. Liking or disliking the partners attitudes
E.Discussing new concepts and and actions. 5. Inability to sleep overthinking what the
practicing new skill #2 partner said or do.
ENGANGEMENT - is a period of agreement entered between two people in love for them to be able
to know each other and their families well enough to be sure that they are ready and are suited for
life-long companionship. MARRIAGE - is a
lifelong partnership of a man and woman. it is not a mere contract but an inviolable social instituion
governed by law under the Civil Code of the Philippines

GENERALIZATION AND SHARING OF CONCEPTS After


the discussion, several pairs will be chosen to discuss their learnings from the topic as well as new
insights gained.

class will be divided into five groups. Using their understanding of Courtship, Daing, and Marriage.
Each Group will perform different activities. Performance will be graded using the attached rubrics.

H.    Making generalizations and Love takes time. Before diving into a relationship, ensure that you have overcome the necessary
abstractions about the lesson hurdles and have matured physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Ask your parents how they met each other and the road they travelled towards marriage. If you have
a single parent, you may ask them why. (This activity will not be submitted but more of an additional
actvity that will allow the student to understand their parents more.)
