NanoRadar MR72 UART To CAN

Upgrade Steps
Step 1:
Open the radar antenna housing, the below photo red circled place shows the

resistor are at 2 and 3, means the radar on UART Mode.

Step 2：
Open the software, radar connect with software via USB-TTL converter, click “Radar

Upgrade” menu.

Step 3：

1 Connection way：【COM】
；

2 Choose serial number：Fill in as shown in Device Manager (shown here as COM3),

baud rate：
【115200】
；

3 Click【Obtain】
，to get the current version number, it should be【1.1.3】；

4 Click【Choice】, choose radar firmware【MR72_UAV_V1.0.6_CANM_20190702】

；
5 Click【Upgrade】, waiting for upgrade success.

Step 4：

Wait for a moment, the tools will show “Update Successful”, it means radar upgrade

success.

Step 5：

Change the radar resistor position to 1 and 4, like below picture.

Step 6：

To verify if change UART to CAN succeed.

Connect radar with software via USBCAN converter, click 【 Connect 】 ,will show
multiple target detection.

Step 7：

Click【Radar Upgrade】
，click【Obtain】, the CAN mode firmware should be【1.0.6】
。
Notice：Do not power off the radar during the upgrade, otherwise the firmware will

be damaged and the radar will not start.
