Dear Sir,
Please check availability of local party for testing and arrange quotation , so same we can submit to TKIS for confirmation.
Regards,
Kishor Adwani
Further to the yellow highlighted portion of below mail, we have discussed the matter with OEM i.e. M/s USHA MARTIN for the
possible measures regarding the expiry of HT cable.
After discussion with their QC Team, we understood that if the material has got no rust / slightly rust ( that cannot be so harmful
to the strength of the material ) then the same material can be utilised. If the material has got slightly rust then the same needs
to be removed by any means & can be utilised. Also, before using the material the same needs to be checked by UTS of the
material as per standard norms of IS 14268:2017.

As already informed to you, all the material required for pre-stressing is already shipped and received at site. There are certain

enable us to arrange for the deputation of expert at site.

We had conducted such test on pre-stressing strands through LBTP for the strands available at premises of our client in
Abidjan. Please find enclosed test certificate as a proof. Mr. Fayaz & Mr. Anish know about this.

Thank you for the contact details of the Agency, we shall check with them and get the test done here.
However, I did not say to send material back to India or Germany, I proposed to send samples, maybe 3 pieces of 12 " long
each) only to conduct a test.

Dear Sir,
Sending back the material to India / Germany will be very time consuming and expensive process. Hence the better
option is to test the material in Ivory Coast only.
Below is the agency we came to know, who can perform such task. You may try to reach out them.

You are well aware that in this place getting a reliable agency for UTS testing of 15MM diameter cable having a tensile
strength of 190Kg/Sq MM is very difficult.
1) Please send the test certificate of the Prestressing cable manufacturer (usually Manufacturer is responsible to provide a
Test certificate from a reputed third party lab approved by the customer) to the OEM and ask them for a waiver of testing
at site as facility is not available
2) Find out a Testing Lab in India or Germany in consultation with OEM and we shall advise Ayoki to send the sample from
site for the test.

Dear Sir,
We understand from M/s Ayoki that the pre-stressing activities of Mill foundations are being initiated at site. However
before doing so, as informed in trailing mail, it is mandatory to check the UTS of HT Cables before using the same.
You are requested to support the Ayoki for the test of HT Cable. After testing the reports to be shared with us for getting
consent from OEM.
Regards,
Nilesh Jumale
Dear Mr Kishor,
Please update the status of UTS testing of HT Cables required for the pre-stressing of Mill Foundation
As informed earlier, it is mandatory to check the UTS of material before using the same, hence please carry out the test
of HT Cable and shared the report with us for consent from OEM.
We are hereby taking Mr Dixit in the loop for his advice and guidance.

Nilesh Jumale
