Please use a black or blue ink pen to mark your ballot.
To vote for a person, darken or shade in the box that is
associated with the person's name in the proper
column,
‘A write-in vote will not be counted unless the vote is
for a DECLARED write-in candidate. To vote for a write-
in candidate, you must make a voting mark on or in the
square to the left of the name you have written in or
your vote will not be counted.
STRAIGHT PARTY
(1) You are not required to vote a straight party ticket.
If you do not wish to vote a straight party ticket, do not
make a mark in this section, and proceed to voting the
ballot by office
(2) To vote a straight Democratic, Republican or
Libertarian ticket for all Democratic, Republican, or
Libertarian candidates on this ballot, except for
candidates described in (3) below, make a voting mark
on or in this box and do not make any other marks on
this ballot
(3) To vote for any candidate for an at-large office
(Township Board), to which more than one (1) person
may be elected, you must make another voting mark
for each candidate you wish to vote for. Your straight
party vote will not count as a vote for any candidate for
that office.
(4) If you wish to vote for a candidate seeking a non-
partisan office, you must make another voting mark on
the appropriate place on this ballot.

Shall the Monroe County Community School
Corporation increase property taxes paid to the School
Corporation by homeowners and businesses for eight
(8) years immediately following the holding of the
referendum for the purpose of funding the retention
and attraction of teachers and support staff through
increased compensation, and for funding to enhance
academic programs including STEM, the arts, and
special education at a maximum referendum property
tax rate of $0.185? If this public question is approved
by the voters, the average property tax paid to the
School Corporation per year on a residence would
increase by 35.24% and the average property tax paid
to the School Corporation per year on a business
property would increase by 34.09%. The most recent
property tax referendum proposed by the School
Corporation was held in 2016 and the measure passed.
