General
Equipment and units are monitored with the NAUTOALARM signal unit. The unit can dis-
play up to 15 operating conditions or errors. Operating conditions are signalised by means
of a dimmable continuous light, and errors by flashing light and an acoustic signal. The
signal input can either be via voltage or a contact.
Additionally, there are also connections for an external mer and an external reset key. A
relay contact (inverter) is used as external alarm signal keying device (aggregate alarm).
When required, a relay PCB with floating contact can be used for alarm signalisation. The
connection to other attached alarm devices is made via a transfer module. The relay PCB
also has a serial interface for external status messages.
‘When using two spatially separated assembled signal units NAUTOALARM (e.g. bridge
and steering gear room), a master/slave version or a master/master version can be
realized (for Version SAQO1 only partially applicable)
