Apnea – absence of breathing

Dyspnea – difficulty breathing

Eupnoea – normal breathing

Hypoxia – decrease of oxygen in tissue

Hypoxemia – decrease of oxygen in blood

Asphyxia – condition caused by insufficient intake of oxygen

Ventilation is mainly used to control indoor air quality by diluting and displacing indoor pollutants

Inspiration --- taking air into the lungs

 when the capacity of the chest is increased air enter the trachea

Expiration ----- letting air out of the lungs during the breathing cycle

 when the chest wall and the diaphragm return to their previous positions inspiration

Aspiration

 happens when food, liquid, or other material enters a person's airway and eventually the lungs
by accident. It can happen as a person swallows, or food can come back up from the stomach.
