Are you in favor of removing the Party-List System in our election process? Explain why?

No, I am not in favor of eradicating the Party-List system since it allows the marginalized sectors to have
their voices heard in Congress. However, I am in favor of amending or modifying it. This is because some
party-lists have become a convenient electoral platform for the wealthy, establishment politicians,
communist party, religious fanatics, as well as political dynasties with ambition or wealth to join
Congress rather than representing the impoverished and underprivileged groups. Therefore, the Party-
List system should be retained in our electoral process but with a few amendments.
