INTRODUCTION

Aircraft Engine Lease Finance is a commercial aircraft and engine leasing company. FlightService is
an ACMI and Charter provider of passenger and freight aircraft. AELF FlightService create a fully
integrated wet and dry aircraft leasing platform, providing customized leasing solutions to airlines
around the world. In this study, Aircraft owner will be involved since this include the aviation
maintenance records keeping issues.
Aircraft maintenance records for an aircraft’s airframe, engine, and avionics are vital for maintaining
the airworthiness of an aircraft. Aircraft maintenance records detail the work performed on the aircraft,
the date the work was completed, the maintenance team’s signature, the FAA certificate details, and
the certificate number and signature of the person returning the aircraft to service.

Aircraft maintenance records include:The total time in service of the airframe and the status of the
life-limited parts of the airframe. The time since the last overhaul of the items installed on the
aircraft, the indication of the current inspection status of the aircraft, including the time since the last
inspection, the current status of applicable Airworthiness Directives (ADs),A copy of major alterations
to each airframe, engine, propeller, and avionics,,It’s ultimately the aircraft owner’s responsibility to
appropriately keep and maintain aircraft maintenance records. It’s the pilot’s responsibility to ensure
they are flying an aircraft that’s airworthy.
Problem

Improper keeping of Aviation records is major concern in aviation industry since it is the basis of
aircraft operator for the leasing of an aircraft and to assure its airworthiness standards. Prior to the
issue, the impact could be loss or damage of the maintenance records of the aircraft. Some common
causes of improper handling that results for the possible loss or damage of the records were
complacency and distraction of an aircraft ownwer/operator. The loss or damage of the records will
result to the leasing of the aircraft since it requires records to be approved for its release.

Analysis of Alternatives
Each potential solution and practices are:
● Avoiding the complacency, since that you are too confident, there may be cases that you mis
placed or mishandled the records
● Avoiding Disturbance while doing post record task since distractions can lead to confusion of
task.
● Attaching records on your pockets by using cases with holder to secure your record safely

Recommendations
Attaching records on your pockets by using cases with holder would bethe optimal practices to be
used since avoiding complacency and distractions was sometimes forgotten due to it was a readed
knowledgeand remembering is one of the hardest practices the attached record will contribute
significantly for the operator since it is attached on the pockets fully secured to avoid the loss that
can result to damage of the record.
