I. NAME OF THE PROJECT


Crochet Bag

II. OBJECTIVES
 To utilize tools and materials in making a crochet art
 To encourage personal creativity in crocheting with wool fabrics and
yarns
 To apply different stitches and crochet pattern in crocheting
 To create a crochet bag

V. SKETCH OR DRAWING OF THE PROJECT
VI. PROCEDURE
STEP 1: Unravel the yarn from the skein 2-3 meters and slightly stretch the
yarn
STEP 2: Leave the tip of the yarn 5 cm and make a 37 CH (chain)
STEP 3: Skip 1 CH inward and insert the hook in the back half stich (when
catching the yarn, twist the yarn looking up)
STEP 4: Make 1 SC (single crochet) and repeat to the next.
STEP 5: After making a single crochet, skip 1 stitch then insert the hook into
the next stitch. Make a 1 long loop then SC. Insert the hook to the previous
stitch, take the yarn upside down then make 1 SC ( you need to make 17
rapports). At the end make 1 SC.
STEP 6: For the next row, make 1 CH. Then turn the yarn behind the work.
STEP 7: Knit 1 pattern and repeat the previous steps. (Make 18 rows)
STEP 8: For the sidewall. Leave end of yarn 5 cm and make 5 CH.
STEP 9: Skip 1 CH, INC (work 2 stitches in the next stitch) 4 SC in the back
half stitches. Make 1 CH to rise next row.
STEP 10: In the second row, in the first stitch INC 2 SC 1. Next, 2 SC INC in
the last stitch 2 SC in 1. Make 7 rows.
STEP 11: Now, DEC (crochet two together), 1 SC of 2 SC, DEC 1 SC of 2. Do
3 more rows of 4 SC.
STEP 12: DEC 1 of 2 (total of 2 stitches), 1 more row 2 SC. Make a total of 16
rows).
STEP 13: Cut the tip of the yarn and hide it.
STEP 14: Make another sidewall.
STEP 15: Make 1 CH and do 15 SS (Slip stitch). Continue until the corner of
the bag.
STEP 16: Take the sidewall. Look for the pattern of paired rows on the
outside and sew the sidewall. Continue until you finished the first sidewall.
When you reach the corner, sew the other sidewall
STEP 17: Then sew the middle of sidewall. (SS)
STEP 18: For the upper portion. Make 1 CH and crochet in the round. Make 5
rows of SS.
STEP 19: Cut off the thread and hide the tip.
STEP 20: Attached the magnetic lock to the bag.
STEP 21: For the strap, take another yarn with a measurement of 150 cm.
Measure 8 times of 150 cm.
STEP 22: Attach 2 ends of yarn and sew by hand.
STEP 23: Put one end of the bag handle on the door handle or have someone
to hold it. Then twist the second end. After that, fold the bag handle in half
and twist it.
STEP 24: Put the rings on the bag handle. Attach the rings on the bag.
STEP 25: Enhance the appearance of the bag by putting crochet flower
designs.
