UNIT REQUIREMENT

Significance of the Rizal Course in Your Chosen Career

Considering that the Rizal course is a mandatory component in any

tertiary curriculum, try to relate the importance of studying Jose
Rizal’s life, works, and writings to your chosen program career.
Write your answer in not more than 200 words.

Mandating Rizal course in the tertiary level is very essential not just for the
sake of historical preservation but also to help students understand social consciousness
and to enlighten students how important patriotism is. The story and life of Jose Rizal is a
significant learning to the students on how he fought against Spanish colonialism for the
liberty of the country so he deserves to have a tribute and to be called as our national hero.
As a BSBA student , the Rizal course also correlates to my course in the way
that we will going to be a public servants in the future and an agent of the country’s
economy. We will also going to be a leader who give opportunities to our fellow Filipino to
grow and contribute to our country, just like him he also an a student who took a lot of
profession just to gain knowledge and experience and later on it was his weapon to fight for
the country. No matter what career you have, as long as you have the heart of patriotism
and use it to help others specially to the welfare of the country, we will also be a hero in our
own way.
