nama oṁ viṣṇu-pādāya kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhāya bhū-tale

śrīmate bhaktivedānta-svāmin iti nāmine

namas te sārasvate deve gaura-vāṇī-
pracāriṇe nirviśeṣa-śūnyavādi-pāścātya-
deśa-tāriṇe

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,

Please accept my prostrated obeisances at Your lotus feet.

Ever since i came into Kṛṣṇa consciousness,

All my big-big material plans and ambitions have gone in vain.

Engaging in fruitive activities it feels pointless,

Now if i don't fully surrender then life will become worthless.
 Although I'm fallen and have no taste ,
Still i want to become an instrument, by serving ‘ Your divine grace’.

To rectify this conditional soul, it needs high spiritual dose,

Though I haven't lost hope, because in association there is profuse scope.

I really want to make your instructions as my life and soul,

Serving your devotees, let this alone be my only goal.

It is because of your mercy, any rascal can become wise,

Oh Śrīla Prabhupāda please have a glance by your merciful eyes.

I pray to you on this most auspicious day,

Please be kind enough and save me from becoming maya's prey.

You are ocean of mercy, A Sailor for this age,

Kindly accept the player of this lowly slave.
