Life on a Farm
JACK´S FARM

Jack and Jill live on a farm with their mum and dad. They always have lots of things to do.

They wake up at 06:30 and have breakfast together, then when the children go to school, their

Mum and Dad work on the farm. At 07:30 Farmer Jones feeds his cows and sheep and Mrs Jones

feeds the chickens and collects the eggs.

Then at 08:00 Farmer Jones milks the cows, when he finishes he takes the milk to Mrs Jones.

She uses some of the milk to make butter and she bakes some delicious bread.

At 11:00 Farmer Jones works on his crops in the field, he has potatoes, onions, carrots and all sorts

of other vegetables. He plants some seeds and checks if any crops are ready to harvest. He has

a big blue tractor that he uses to do this.

The children come home at 04:00 and the family all have tea together. The children love the fresh

bread and butter and they eat lots of it.

After they finish their tea, the children do their homework and at 06:00 Jack and Jill help their

Father bring the cows into the barn. The cows sleep in the barn every night.
