FOUNDATION DAY SPECIAL

SSG Project

This is a proposal/overview for the upcoming Foundation Day Event presented by the Student Supreme
Government (SSG) which will be held at Gumaca NHS effective as of 1 st of September, 2022. We
envisioned pupils to socialize, cooperate and build bonds throughout the entirety of the event. We have
decided to execute this event in the form of an E-Sports tournament (Garena Call of Duty Mobile
tournament) since we believe that the gaming industry became a symbol of hope and entertainment
leading disconnected individuals to unite and feed off positivity when the situation of the pandemic is at
its lowest.

For specified timeline and details please refer to the following. By participating in this tournament you
automatically subject yourselves to the rules and regulations listed below.

2. Participation

2.1 Participation

2.1.1 Teams are allowed to consist of 7 players maximum (5 main players and 2
. substitutes) 5 players minimum in order to register. Registration will be .
.. processed via google forms only. A total of 16 teams will participate.

2.1.2 By registering, teams acknowledge that all usage of photos, videos, and any
. form of recording during the tournament has been given legal consent by the
. players for media and marketing purposes.

2.1.3 Player names that are found to be offensive/vulgar will not be tolerated by .
. the organizers and a request for the name change is allowed during and before the .
. competition. Participants who do not follow this instruction will be disqualified.

2.1.4 Communications. Players must be active on the Discord channel where the
. admin will be posting all important information and updates about the tournament.
. Any tournament-related concerns must always be addressed via Discord only.
2.2 Participation Fees

2.2.1 Teams will be charged 300 PHP in order to participate. Transaction must be
. processed via on hand or gcash.

3. Tournament Streams
3.1 Players will be asked to act gracefully when the game is streamed, no vulgar words, taunting, or
spamming is allowed. Any dispute should be directed to the tournament admins directly for any issues.
Any player that is found not following this rule will be disqualified immediately regardless if the game is
streamed or not.
3.2 Players cannot stream their tournament matches during the Tournament.
3.3 Only Semi-Finals and Finals matches will be broadcasted.

4. Code and Conduct

4.1 Participants must be responsible for their actions. Any participant that violates the player's
conduct will be penalized including their team.
4.2 Participants are expected to respect their fellow participants and all the SSG staff.
Participants shall not make any indecent, impolite, or insulting actions or gestures towards the
aforementioned parties.
4.3 Participants are prohibited from being vulgar and spamming, both in-game and on the
communication platform. Failure to do so after multiple strikes will result to a disqualification.
4.4 Betting is strictly forbidden between participants and will not be tolerated.
4.5 Match-fixing, or even colluding to match-fixing will be considered as disqualification if found
out by the organizers.
4.6 Participants are advised to be humble and strict with each other on enforcing these rules for
the smooth flow of the tournament.
4.7 Any dispute may be directed to the tournament admins through the tournament’s
communication platform

5. Tournament Structure

5.1 Bracket System

5.1.1 Brackets will be a standard elimination bracket, consisting of a lower bracket. .

. Lower brackets will be filled with the first and second elimination losers. The .
. champion of the Losers/Bracket will have the chance to fight for 2 nd runner up.

5.1.2 At the end of every match our Match Supervisors and Bracket Managers will .

5.2 Match Settings

5.2.1 First Eliminations are set to be SND (Search and Destroy) ONLY. Best of Three .
. matches.
 5.2.1.1 SND 6 rounds, 120 seconds per round

5.2.2 Second Eliminations will consist of 3 gamemodes (in order) Hardpoint, SND .
. and Domination. Best of 3

5.2.2.1 Hardpoint 150 points, 300 seconds

5.2.2.2 SND 6 rounds, 120 per second

5.2.2.3 Domination 75 points per round, 150 seconds per round

6. General Tournament Rules

6.1 General Tournament Rules

6.1.1 Schedule
6.1.1.1 Players must be ready at least 30 minutes before the schedule given by the
admin.
6.1.1.2 The schedule can be adjusted anytime by the tournament admin. It can be a
rolling time, especially for the broadcast matches.
6.1.1.3 The Standard grace period is 15 minutes. The decision of disqualification will
always come from the tournament administrator on a case-to-case basis.
6.1.1.4 All tournament schedules will be communicated to participants by the
tournament admins.
6.2 Internet connection is the participant’s personal responsibility. The organizers will not be held
. liable for any issues that arise from a participant’s internet connection.
6.3 Participants will be required to report their victories to the tournament admins on the
. communication platform.
6.4 Participants who do not use their registered account/IGN can be denied participation in any of
. the online qualifiers by the tournament admins.
The following are considered illegal and will be punished:
6.4.1 Account Sharing / Piloting
6.4.2 Deliberate Disconnection: Deliberately disconnecting for improper or unclear
reasons is prohibited and will be punished.
6.4.3 Cheating: Using any kind of device or third-party program to cheat, or using any
resembling means to cheat. Conspiring to cheat also falls under this category, and
the involved parties will be dealt with accordingly.
6.5 Any dispute may be directed to the tournament admins through the tournament’s
. communication platform. Credible evidence must be presented in order for the tournament
. admins to entertain the issue.
6.7 Using EMULATOR is NOT allowed.
