REFLECTIVE VIEWING:

A Glimpse into the works of a rural teacher

PART A.

“Palagi kami nag gegames kasi nag eenjoy sila, kasi karamihan sabi nila boring”.
School. Ayon sa kanya, “I observed them, they are very dedicated and committed in their service”.
mahusay at epektibong guro.

PART B.

1. When the rural pupils recite in chant the multiplication table during flag ceremonies as they
morning exercise, which of the following domain of learning is exhibited? Explain your choice in
a 60-word sentence using any reference available on google.

 When the rural pupils recite in chant the multiplication table during flag ceremonies
as they morning exercise, Cognitive is the domain that is being exhibited. According
to the Cognitive domain (Bloom, 1956) it involves knowledge and the development
of intellectual skills. This includes the recall or recognition of procedural patterns that
serve in the development of intellectual abilities and skills.

2. In the same way, when the rural pupils recite in chant the multiplication table during flag
ceremonies as they morning exercise, which of the following four UNESCO pillars of education is
espoused? Explain your choice in a 60-word sentence using Jacques Delors journal that I
provided you.

 When the rural pupils recite in chant the multiplication table during flag ceremonies
as they morning exercise, the pupils adopt the first pillar, “Learning to Know.”
Because, as Jacques Delors explained in his journal, this kind of strategy implies
“Learning how to learn” by calling upon the power of concentration and memory to
develop one’s memory skills and ability to think.

3. Which of the following Domains of Learning best matches the First Pillar of Education, Learning
to Know? Explain your choice in a 60-word sentence using your own words based on your
understanding from reading google references.

 The cognitive domain best matches the first pillar of education because it involves the
development of our mental skills and the acquisition of knowledge. We know that in
the first pillar, it implies the mastering of the instruments of knowledge themselves,
in which the cognitive domain teaches students to deal with the mental processes
like recognizing or recalling knowledge from memory.

4. When Mildred shared that she plans to work as a housemaid as inspired by her favorite teacher,
Ma’am Lea, just so Mildred can reach her long-term plan to continue her schooling to achieve
her personal dreams, which of the following domain of learning is exhibited? Explain your choice
in a 60-word sentence using any reference available on google.

 Mildred adopted the affective domain of learning when she stated that she intends
to work as a housemaid in order to achieve her aim of continuing her education. The
affective domain, according to Krathwohl (1973), includes how we deal with things
emotionally, such as feelings, enthusiasm, and motivations. Mildred showcases her
active attention to stimuli and her motivation to learn.

5. In the same way, when Mildred shared with Sandra Aguinaldo that she plans to work as a
housemaid as inspired by her favorite teacher, Ma’am Lea, just so Mildred can reach her long-
term plan to continue her schooling to achieve her personal dreams, which of the following four
UNESCO pillars of education is espoused? Explain your choice in a 60-word sentence using
Jacques Delors journal that I provided you.

 Mildred adopted the “Learning to do” when she stated that she intends to work as a
housemaid in order to achieve her aim of continuing her education. As Jacques Delors
explained in his journal, it entails the acquisition of a competence that enables people
to deal with a variety of situations. Mildred shows her readiness to take risks and
resolve conflicts.

6. When the Sindangan pupils walked many hours just to reach school then did drills and exercises
everyday in class to prepare them to perform well in the National Achievement Test as they
applied their best of competencies, and skills to top the test, which of the following domain of
learning is exhibited? Explain your choice in a 60-word sentence using any reference available
on google.

 The Sindangan pupils exhibited the psychomotor domain of learning as they walked
for many hours just to reach school and then did drills and exercises every day in
class to prepare them to perform well on the National Achievement Test. According
to Simpson (1972), it includes utilizing motor skills and the ability to coordinate
them, which involves the ability to apply sensory information to motor activity.

7. In the same way, when the Sindangan pupils walked many hours just to reach school then did
drills and exercises everyday in class to prepare them to perform well in the National
Achievement Test as they applied their best of competencies, and skills to top the test, which of
the following four UNESCO pillars of education is espoused? Explain your choice in a 60-word
sentence using Jacques Delors journal that I provided you.

 The Sindangan pupils espoused "Learning to do", as the pupils use skills
development for "doing" specific or practical tasks in skillful and discerning
application of knowledge. Because, as Jacques Delors explained in his journal,
"skills" is a better description of what you have to have nowadays to be self-
confident and able to deal with the various challenges of working life.
8. When Teacher Lea provided her pupils group activities and games to learn Mathematics, apart
from Learning to Know, what other four UNESCO pillars of education below is espoused? Explain
your choice in a 60-word sentence using Jacques Delors journal that I provided you. State what
one specific ATTITUDE or VALUES (good manners and right conduct) that you think Teacher Lea
seeks to develop in her students to support the letter of your choice here.

 As Teacher Lea provided her pupils with group activities and games to learn
mathematics, the pupils espoused "learning to live together." Teacher Lea seeks to
emphasize the importance of empathy and concern for others by developing
friendships among students inside of the formal classroom. As Jacques Delors
explained, this is essential in the world we live in, given the resurgence of populism
that we are witnessing everywhere.

in caring, sharing, and resolving conflicts through dialogue and when teacher Lea
seeks to emphasize the importance of empathy and concern for others, they adopt
the affective domain of learning. According to Krathwohl, Bloom, and Masia (1973),
it includes the manner in which we deal with things emotionally, such as feelings,
values, appreciation, enthusiasm, motivations, and attitudes.
